"O, full of scorpions is my mind, dear wife!"

WRITTEN BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
DIRECTED BY DAMIEN RYAN

In 2027, Sport for Jove unleashes a brand new production of Macbeth — physical, frightening, funny and exhilarating theatre for young people. Students will experience a dynamic, condensed production of the play, followed by a Q&A with the cast. Discover why a play written 400 years ago can still feel dangerously close to now.

Macbeth is Shakespeare’s most atmospheric story and, as such, there is no more important play for students to see live – visceral in its language, searing tensions, blood on its hands, voices in the dark, prophecies, dreams and the terrors of the imagination, with a profound love story at its centre.

Alongside its famed themes of ambition, power, courage, guilt, fate, political manipulation and the consequences of our choices, we are asked a much simpler and more eternal question – what if getting what you want is far more terrifying than losing it?

Don’t miss out on Macbeth in 2027!
