"What visions have I seen!"

WRITTEN BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
DIRECTED BY MIRANDA MIDDLETON

Love doesn’t behave. Reality bends. Bring your family to a world where the woods are alive, the fairies are watching, and suddenly you’re not quite sure who you are, or who — or what — you love!

This bold, uniquely Australian production is a mischievous invitation for audiences of all ages to venture deep inside Shakespeare’s most playful and surreal world — where chaos rules, love turns to madness, and your best friend might just turn out to be a donkey. Join us for an iconic story of growing up, falling in love, losing control, and laughing until it hurts.

Trouble is brewing in the forest of Athens. Runaway lovers are brawling, actors are preparing their ill-fated masterpiece, and the fairy kingdom is in disarray. The King of the fairies and his mischievous servant, Puck, are desperately trying to set things right… but what happens when things don’t quite go to plan?

Experience one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies as it was meant to be: lived, felt, endlessly surprising and wonderfully hilarious. A Midsummer Night's Dream is a perfect introduction to the Bard, or a fresh adventure for anyone already enchanted. Brought to you by Sydney Theatre Award-nominated director Miranda Middleton (Bright Star, 2025). And who knows? Maybe it really is all just a dream…
