The Universal Access Program is supported by City of Sydney and aimed at increasing access to students of First Nations, CaLD backgrounds by providing subsidised access to Sport for Jove’s 2021 Education Program at the Seymour Centre | 15 March - 10 June 2021.
Our 2021 Education Program offers:
Performances 3 mainstage productions across 7 weeks of production at The Seymour Centre. Our extensive Student Resource Kids are complimentary for all shows.
Symposiums An in-depth look at 8 classic works on the HSC syllabus. Over three hours, SFJ re-enact, dissect and discuss scenes of a script, allowing students to ask questions and unlock the themes, structure, characters, ambiguities and plot of that particular play.
Digital Packages On-Demand, feature-length presentations including classroom activities and workshops, detailed teacher support materials, and interaction with the cast and creatives of SFJ.
Low ICSEA identified schools are eligible for this new program which entitles students to 50% off the standard student ticket price, now only $14 per ticket, accompanying teachers are free per 10 students.
If your school is unable to travel due to cost or accessibility, and are outside a 300km radius of Sydney, we also offer subsidised tickets for the same to access our online Digital Packages.
The knowledge and participation acquired from these learning experiences can elevate HSC scores through access to academic forums and encourage participation in tertiary education.
The Seymour Centre is a fully accessible venue and has its own COVID-19 Safety Plan and Risk Assessment paperwork. The Seymour has released more tickets as restrictions have been easing and they are now able to increase the capacity of all performances.
We look forward to seeing your students at the Seymour Centre soon! Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions. Email us at info@sportforjove.com.au or call 02 8970 1921.

It is truly heartening to read about the Universal Access Program 2021, as the commitment to inclusivity and removing barriers for students is a cause I resonate with deeply while navigating the intensive rigors of my current PhD research. Balancing my doctoral studies with a part-time role at last minute assignments has given me a front-row seat to the modern student experience, where academic and personal goals often clash with overwhelming technical deadlines and systemic challenges; having suffered through many high-stress hustles and sleepless nights during my own college days, I am now incredibly conscious of the mental toll that an unmanaged workload can take on one’s stability. This personal history is why I have such a genuine interest in…
The post about the Universal Access Program shows how it helps students from different backgrounds access theater and learning opportunities, especially through subsidized tickets and digital resources. I liked how the program offers performances, symposiums, and online packages to support students who may face financial or travel barriers. It reminded me of when I joined a school workshop that opened new ideas for learning. I once used BTEC Assignment Service UK during a busy term, which helped me stay organized. It makes me think equal access can really boost confidence and participation.
I really enjoyed reading about the Universal Access Program and how Sport for Jove is making theatre and arts education more accessible for schools and students who might otherwise miss out on subsidised tickets or support for transport and participation, especially since engaging with live performance can be such a powerful way to bring literature and storytelling to life outside the classroom. It’s great to see a company thinking not just about putting on shows but also about widening the audience and giving more young people the chance to experience theatre in a way that connects with their studies and inspires creativity, because sometimes the cost or logistics of attending arts events can be a real barrier for families or…
Amazing experience! The technicians from Gas Fireplace Repair Kelowna were friendly and knew exactly what to do.
