Education | Second Age Project

Sport for Jove's exciting youth drama initiative the Second Age Project returns for a fourth year.

We want passionate, talented & hard-working theatre loving students!

Following in the success of the first three seasons, the award-winning theatre company Sport for Jove invites students aged 9-20 from the Hills District area to work alongside trained theatre professionals to be a part of our student-based theatre projects at Bella Vista Farm from December 20th to 22nd in conjunction with Sport for Jove's annual signature event Sydney Hills Shakespeare in the Park.

No experience with Shakespeare is necessary, just enthusiasm!

To acknowledge and encompass Sport for Jove's ever growing young fan base and aspiring actors of the Hill's District in general, Jove has decided to create two exciting youth theatre events for Summer 2016!  The Second Age Project will now engage younger actors aged 9-13, while the newer Third Age Project will be open to actors aged 14-20. Both projects will provide an opportunity for young theatre enthusiasts to perform in a curtain raiser show as part of Sport for Jove's annual outdoor Shakespeare Festival at Bella Vista Farm. Both projects draw their title from the famous speech in Shakespeare's play 'As You Like It, beginning: "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women, merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages..."
