Education | Second Age Project

Sport for Jove's exciting youth drama initiative The Second Age Project -Summer Season returns for a seventh season.

We want passionate, talented, hard-working theatre loving students!

Following the success of its first six seasons, the award-winning theatre company Sport for Jove invites high school students to be a part of our youth theatre project at Bella Vista Farm this December, in conjunction with the company’s annual signature event Sydney Hills Shakespeare in the Park.

No experience with Shakespeare is necessary, just enthusiasm!

The Second Age Project - Summer Season will provide an opportunity for young theatre enthusiasts to perform in a curtain-raiser show as part of Sport for Jove's annual outdoor Shakespeare Festival at Bella Vista Farm.

The project gives young talent an experience in rehearsing and performing in a fun and professional environment.

The Second Age Project draws its title from the famous speech in Shakespeare's play As You Like It, beginning:

"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women, merely players;

They have their exits and their entrances,

And one man in his time plays many parts,

His acts being seven ages..."

The  Second Age is the school child with 'shining morning face'.
