Bernadette Ryan

Bernadette is a founding member of Sport for Jove and her recent acting credits include the feature film Venus and Adonis (Agnes Hathaway), Queen Elizabeth in Rose Riot: Shakespeare’s History Cycle, Cyrano de Bergerac and the 2018/2019 Education season. She has also performed in Macbeth, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet and As You Like It (for SFJ). Selected theatre credits include Mary MacKillop in Her Holiness (Bakehouse Theatre), Ophelia in Hamlet, Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Kattrin in Mother Courage (New Theatre). Desdemona in Othello and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet (Quasimodo Theatre Co.) Film credits include Blessed Mary (Bearcage Productions). Bernadette is a 1995 Graduate of Theatre Nepean. She has a lifelong love of costumes and is also the Wardrobe Manager at Sport for Jove. Costume design credits include the feature film Venus and Adonis, Romeo and Juliet 2019/2020 and Macbeth for our 2020/2021 Education season.
