Eloise Winestock | Biography

Eloise graduated from the Acting course at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2010.  She was nominated as Best Supporting Actress in the 2014 Sydney Theatre Awards for her role as Princess Katherine in the Bell Shakespeare national touring production of Henry V directed by Damien Ryan. Eloise won the 2013 Sydney Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actress in an Independent Production for her role as Luciana in Sport For Jove’s The Comedy of Errors.  Also for Sport For Jove she has played Cecily in The Importance of Being Ernest, Tania in Taming Of The Shrew, Diana in All’s Well that Ends Well, Ophelia in Hamlet, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Hermia in A Midsummer Nights Dream and Celia in As You Like It. For Belvoir Street Theatre she played Bubba in Neil Armfield’s Summer of the Seventeenth Doll. For Bell Shakespeare she has played Miranda in John Bell’s 2015 production of The Tempest. Eloise has also played Jack in Lord of the Flies, directed by Kip Williams, Lavinia in Cry Havoc’s Titus Andronicus and Sandy in Alex Buzo’s Rooted for Don’t Look Away theatre company.
