Anna Kennedy is a Melbourne-based producer, actor and theatre-maker. She is the Creative Producer of She Said Theatre, which aims to create active roles for women and other under-represented theatre artists, and Company Manager of Rollercoaster Theatre, an ensemble of trained actors with intellectual disabilities.
In 2016 Anna produced the award-winning show HART by She Said Theatre for seasons in Auckland, Wellington, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne, For the Love of Pina by Rollercoaster Theatre (Ararat Performing Arts Centre), and F. by Riot Stage (Poppy Seed Theatre Festival). In 2015 she produced FR!SK Festival for True North Arts Festival (Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre) and produced/performed in a collaboration between VCA graduates and Living Positive Victoria for their ENUF Stigma Campaign.
Her performance credits include A Room of One’s Own (Sentient Theatre/La Mama 2016), Steppe: A Journey of Unforgetting (Goodnight Sofie!/Melbourne Fringe Festival 2015), The Living Museum of Erotic Women (Bernzerk Productions 2015), Since the Death of Sarah Kane (La Mama 2015), Lucky Country (VCA/Melbourne Fringe Festival 2014), Plus Sign Attached (VCA/Living Positive Victoria 2014), and The GL*RY Project (VCA/Living Positive Victoria 2014). Anna graduated from VCA with a BA of Fine Arts (Theatre Practice) in 2014.
