Alan Faulkner | Biography

Studied at the Birmingham School of Dramatic Art, and on graduating gained early experience in Repertory, appearing in plays for Birmingham, Bristol, Sheffield and Darlington Repertory companies. He was also a guest artist in many well-known British television series, such as Coronation Street, Emmerdale, and The Bill, as well as appearing in guest roles in productions for Granada Television, Yorkshire Television and the BBC.

Alan's first job in Australia was as a tutor for the Australian Theatre for Young People, and he was soon getting regular work in theatre, appearing for the Independent Theatre, the Actors Company, the Old Tote Theatre, Belvoir Street, and the Sydney Theatre Company. On television, he was seen in guest roles for the ABC, Channel 7 and Channel 10.
